MEET ABBY

Welcome. I'm glad you're here!
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a background in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Parenthood can be challenging with a lot of conflicting emotions. It can also unearth some feelings we may have about our own caregivers and childhoods. I enjoy helping parents discover and embrace their new identity as they grow into a role they've never been in before. If you're struggling with feeling confident in motherhood, enforcing boundaries with family members, or experiencing overwhelming feelings in general, reach out to me to see if we may be a good fit.

Hi there, I'm Annah! As a therapist, I can help you identify the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that drive the behaviors you find surprising or distressing. I will encourage you to engage with your emotions and reflect on your past to understand the present. With this increased self-awareness, I can assist you in developing new mindsets, building skills for healthier relationships, and learning strategies for coping with difficult feelings.

I provide an honest, nonjudgmental, direct approach, while creating a space for you to feel open and comfortable enough to allow you to explore your past and present in a strengths and solutions-focused manner. My highest priority is to partner with you in a way that provides the opportunity for collaboration while validating your individual thoughts and experiences.
